About the Tutor
Hey! I'm Jenni. I have been an avid crafter, artist and maker most of my life, and spent over 14 years as a graphic designer in my early career. I first started learning calligraphy in early 2016, however it was during a battle with postnatal depression following the birth of my second child in 2017 when I started hand-lettering as a way to destress and improve my mental health by writing positive messages in a notebook.
Since then, I went on to build a multi-award winning business using my calligraphy and lettering skills, have my work featured in the UK’s largest wedding blogs, including Rock my Wedding and Love My Dress, and published my first book in 2020.
After closing my wedding calligraphy business following the Covid pandemic, I now focus on sharing my love of hand-lettering with others and promote positive mental health through the art of creativity.
I currently live in the Leicestershire countryside with my husband, 2 daughters and golden retriever Ozzy, and I also have a love for researching my family tree and dream of one day living by the sea.
